WLJC was established in 1982 as the first completely Christian television station in the state of Kentucky. WLJC is an independent Christian, faith based ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The call letters WLJC stand for Wonderful Lord Jesus Christ. The headquarters of WLJC is located at the foothill of the Appalachian Mountains in Beattyville, Kentucky. WLJC's flagship program is called "Hour of Harvest". This "Live" call in program features host Margaret Drake, together with a team of local prayer partners, pastors, and gospel musicians who share the audience's burdens and offer prayer, teaching, and southern/bluegrass gospel music ministry. Viewers may call in their prayer request during each live program Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7pm-8:30pm EST. Host Margaret Drake is an ordained minister of Independent Christian Faith . She has been involved in ministry for nearly 50 years. She has co-pastored several churches and has been active in home mission ministry with an emphasis on working with women, children, and elderly. Margaret's down to earth, non-judgmental, personal approach is well received by all. She offers hope, encouragement and a positive uplifting Christian message wherever she serves. Through her personal experiences with the Lord, Margaret wants to be used by God to bring hope, love, and encouragement to all she comes in contact with.
